These honey-roasted almonds only take a few minutes to prepare, and they are a great snack, a holiday gift, or a hostess gift. They are nutritious, better for you than store-bought, and perfect for road trips.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the almonds from sticking. Set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter in the water and honey.
Add the nuts to the liquid ingredients and stir and turn continuously until the water is absorbed.
Spread the nuts out on the parchment-covered sheet. Bake at 325°F for about 15 minutes, or until some of them start to become lightly browned and toasted.
While the nuts are roasting, add the sugar and spices to a large bowl. Once the nuts are done, immediately add them to the spices in the bowl and toss to coat all the nuts with the sugar and spices.
